Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani Chairs a Meeting with Representatives of Crescent Petroleum

Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani chaired a meeting with representatives of Crescent Petroleum, in the presence of the Ministers of Oil and Electricity.

During the meeting, the government’s plans to proceed with gas investment in partnership with the private sector were discussed.

His Excellency directed the Ministry of Electricity to move forward with contracting Crescent Petroleum to secure 100 million standard cubic feet of gas to be used in operating power stations.

Prime Minister Al-Sudani also instructed the Ministry of Oil to expedite the resolution of all obstacles hindering Crescent Petroleum’s gas and oil investment in the Khashm Al-Ahmar - Injana field, located in Diyala province, within a specific timeline and framework.

تم الإتفاق مع الحكومة المركزية في بغداد على أن تزود بيرل الحكومة المركزية بــــــ 100 مليون قدم مكعب من الغاز المعالج الذي تنتجة الشركة من الــ 250 مليون قدم مكعب من التوسعه الأولى .. وهذا خبر إيجابي جداً لإنه ينوع قاعدة عملاء بيرل بتروليم و خبر إيجابي لإنه بالغالب السعر حيكون أفضل من السعر الذي تشتري به كردستان الغاز و خبر إيجابي أيضاً بأنه يحيط بيرل بتروليم بنوع من الحماية سواء من مشاكل العقود أو من الهجمات التي تحدث لإن أهميتها زادت بحكم تعاقدها مع الحكومة المركزية للعراق ككل .
